Wind speed data is crucial to any wind project. The use of reliable, well-calibrated, cup anemometers is the keystone of the wind industry providing vital commercial data.

Oldbaum provide dependable traceable anemometer calibration services based in our large wind tunnel according to ISO17025.

Closely following the wind industry standard MEASNET cup anemometer calibration within the ranges 4-16m/s, Oldbaum is able to give standard cup calibration certificates, using fully traceable reference instrumentation.

As well as 4-16m/s, Oldbaum offer bespoke calibration campaigns up to 35m/s and detailed frequency files for each measurement point of the calibration.

In addition to cup anemometer calibrations, Oldbaum are able to undertake bespoke wind tunnel flow modelling and computational fluid dynamic commissions as required, to investigate issues like flow corrections and met mast IEC compliance.
