Onshore Data as a Service
Data as a Service, DaaS, is a new service for Oldbaum where Oldbaum provide the appropriate technology for a given project and campaign goal. The client therefore commissions a data contract with Oldbaum, allowing Oldbaum to help with the design of the measurement campaign, and to recommend, agree and provide the appropriate measurement technique for the project.
Our DaaS offer, covers all RS technologies including:
- SoDAR
- Nacelle LiDAR
- Scanning LiDAR
- Ground Based LiDAR
This service can be provided for client owned systems, or where Oldbaum provide the instrument.
Oldbaum offer a modular service ranging from deployment planning to deployment, commission and O&M to full data recovery and analysis services to help ensure the data quality from the campaign.
Our team are trained in SoDAR and LiDAR systems and have experience in using many different power and comms sources ranging from fuel cell hybrid systems to pure diesel based solutions.
O&M
Our O&M service provides a complete solution for the client based on maintaining system uptime. For this service Oldbaum will undertake an initial site survey to assess access and deployment method, as well as viability of measurement campaign; all deployment works, all commission works, remote system health check moitoring; periodic system visits as per manufacturer guidelines, or site specific conditions; system micrositing as required, decommission and safe removal.
Our work is all accomplished under full risk assessment and method statement with our health and safety system designed to be flexible to clients H&S requirements.
In over 10 years of RS deployments Oldbaum proudly have a zero injury rate. Something we intend to maintain.
Analysis
The analysis service is part of our optional additional services. In this case Oldbaum will download and maintain your system data on our secure servers, making it available in raw format either via ftp or SQL database, depending on your preference.
The data analysis will look at the quality of the data and assess the data return versus the initial programme goal. Providing detailed data analysis according to the campaign.
